Creative Uses
Gate-Keeper Campaign
Want to reach an inaccessible audience, like employees at a nearby company, or guests at a hotel? Work with the "gate keeper" there, like the receptionist or concierge and reward them for each client or customer they send over.
A hybrid of the program above and a Gift Card, gate-keepers earn cash, rather than specific rewards. (You decide whether the cash can only be used for products or services your business offers or not.)
No-Cash Points Program
Just like using the regular Points Program, but rather than base the points earned on an amount spent, points are earned based on activities or events that earn different amount of points.
(Basically, in this case, you ignore the "amount purchased" aspect and use the promotions pull-down to define activities or events that earn points.)
Lay-Away Program
Keep track of payments customers make towards the purchase of an item.
Bar Tabs
Keep track of money owed by customers.
Reward Client Referrals
Give your current clients or employees an incentive to be evangelists for your business. With Loyalty Link on your site, they can see that it's working and they'll work harder.
Membership Program
Track membership programs where a person has a certain amount of services, products, or activities that they can deduct one at a time.
Another clever deviation from the underlying program (Buy X Get One Free) where you basically use it "Backwards".
Pre-Paid Items
Sell pre-paid packages of items such as lunches, coffees, massages etc. A simpler implementation of the Membership Program, where only one item (or same-value items) are being pre-paid and redeemed as a single unit.
